I mean it was obvious to those closest to them that they were having issues but there wasn’t like an obvious breakup if you know what I mean. They continued to work and be civil even though they were having issues. So to the chracters it could have just been them going through a rough back and then them working it out and getting back together. I could’ve been both of them walking away from the camera while Shawn starts with how he used to just call in tips. I didn’t think anything of it at the time, but on my recent rewatch I did find it a bit quick.
