Cancellation & Refunds

Before making a payment

No fee is collected through the public website forms. Submit your nomination or attendance request first and wait for the relevant written acceptance or offer. Before payment, obtain the contracting organisation’s details, total payable amount, currency, taxes, package or service scope, deadline and cancellation/refund conditions in a form you can keep.

The written offer must explain cancellation eligibility, any agreed deductions and the refund process or timing relevant to that booking. Ask the team for clarification before paying if information is missing.

Withdrawal before acceptance or payment

To withdraw an enquiry, nomination or interest request, email observerdawn@gmail.com with the relevant event and correspondence. No nomination fee is due merely because you prepared, reviewed or emailed a nomination. Research quotation requests likewise do not create a fee by themselves.

Cancellation after a payment

Send your request to observerdawn@gmail.com, including your name, event or service, booking or acceptance reference, payment date and transaction reference, the amount paid and the reason for your request. Share only relevant payment evidence and avoid full card details or passwords.

The team will review the request against your written agreement, the service already provided and applicable rights, and communicate the outcome and any refund arrangements in writing. Any permitted deductions and payment-method requirements must be explained. If a cancellation right or refund is required by law, that requirement takes priority.

Event changes, postponement or cancellation

If an accepted event arrangement changes materially, the organiser will explain the change and the available options under the agreement and applicable law. Ask for the implications for your booking and any refund or transfer options in writing before agreeing to a revised arrangement.

Dubai’s date is currently to be confirmed; an attendance interest request is not a confirmed booking. Third-party travel, hotel or visa purchases have their own supplier terms unless specifically included in an agreed package.

Research and future digital services

Cancellation of commissioned research is governed by the scope and terms agreed before the work starts, subject to applicable rights. Any permission to begin work during an applicable cancellation period must be handled in that agreement.

The published report catalogue and business-rating assessment are not currently taking purchases through this website. Their purchase, access and cancellation terms must be provided before any future sale is enabled.

Your applicable rights

Cancellation rights can depend on the service, customer circumstances and jurisdiction. Date-specific event arrangements, research services and digital content can have different rules. The organising team should explain the applicable conditions before a paid commitment; this page does not impose a blanket non-refundable rule or replace mandatory consumer protections.
